Dynamic Coupling Trajectory and Spatial-Temporal Characteristics of High-Quality Economic Development and the Digital Economy

This paper takes China’s 2014–2019 provincial data as the observation sample to explore dynamic coupling law of digital economy and high-quality economic development. First, using coordination model, it is found that degree growth on an upward trend, in eastern region higher than other regions; then, Markov chain algorithm, east achieves a two-level leap “antagonism stage-running-in stage-coordination stage”, while central western regions accomplish single level stage” leap. Finally, Dagum Gini coefficient decomposition method, was mean values inter-regional, intra-regional, supervariate density differences contributed 67.60%, 24.03%, 8.36% overall differences, respectively, with highly moderate fluctuations.
